San Francisco, California - September 14, 2006 - Network infrastructure as a service, and on-demand optimizing applications firm, Netli, will participate in a panel discussion at Tier1 Research's 2nd Annual Hosting Transformation Summit, taking place at The Mirage in Las Vegas, on Wednesday, September 20, 2006, from 2:15-3 p.m.
Netli President and CEO, Gary Messiana, will present at Hosting 2.0, focusing on the future of the hosting and Internet Infrastructure Services (IIS) industry as it confronts the opportunities and challenges accompanying heightened attention, increased capital investment, and an onslaught of Web2.0 start-ups.
Tier1 Research sees growth accelerating in the hosting industry, and believes that this growth presents opportunities for substantial market share shifts. The panel discussion, ''CDN: Is the Opportunity Glass Half-Full or Half-Empty,'' will cover such topics as the relationship between conventional web hosting and content delivery networks (CDNs), how CDNs are approaching digital rights management (DRM) issues, and the distribution of high-definition and DVD video.
Netli provides network infrastructure as a service, on-demand optimizing applications, and content delivery while shifting bandwidth, computing, and storage requirements to Netli infrastructure. The result is better utilization of capital budgets and resources by transferring to Netli the cost, risk, complexity and management overhead of delivering enterprise-scale web applications and content. According to the company, the world's three biggest mobile phone suppliers, the largest technology reseller, the largest beauty products company, the two largest computer manufacturers, and the top two import auto manufacturers trust Netli for their application acceleration and content delivery needs. The company is headquartered in Palo Alto, California.
