The Planet Debuts Reseller Program, Cortex Integration, with ModernBill
Houston, Texas - September 14, 2006 - Dedicated hosting and game server solutions provider, The Planet, and ModernGigabyte, LLC, developers of ModernBill, billing automation software, will integrate The Planet's Insomnia365 Cortex game control panel into ModernBill. In addition, The Planet will resell ModernBill as an add-on product to its dedicated game server offerings.
The integration of Cortex in the ModernBill billing system is designed to provide everything a game hosting company requires to run a business, including game management, network management, user management, and server management. The configuration of the Cortex module in ModernBill can be setup within minutes of installing the system. Popular games are included in the game panel such as Counter-Strike, Half-Life 2, Halo, Battlefield, and Call of Duty.
The ModernBill billing system provides full account control so administrators can easily create, delete, suspend, and unsuspend accounts. Multiple billing cycles can be setup to accommodate daily, weekly, monthly, and hourly invoicing. An unlimited number of administrators can be setup with complete control over access privileges. Administrators can also control the number of players per server plan. The Cortex module also gives ModernBill users the ability to do server load balancing customized to the game hosting company’s specific needs.
