1&1 Launches Marketing, Banner Tools
September 26, 2006 -- Web hosting provider 1&1 Internet (1and1.co.uk) announced on Wednesday it has launched 1&1 Search Marketing and 1&1 Banner Advertising, a service available to its customers in the UK.
Powered by Yahoo! Search Marketing, the new solution provides customers with a solution for pay-per-click sponsored search and is specifically designed for smaller budgets. 1&1 says the tool will enable business to run sponsored search marketing campaigns on major search engines and highly trafficked Web sites across the Yahoo! Search Marketing network. It provides monthly reports on rankings and bids as well as competitors' keywords. Customers will have access to an online marketing manual with advice on how to run a successful campaign, and an initial £50 Yahoo! Search Marketing voucher.
1&1 has also partnered with AdLINK Internet Media (adlink.net) to provide all new hosting customers with 1&1 Banner Advertising. The tool provides an integrated solution for UK small businesses to design and place targeted banner advertisements. 1&1 customers will be able to design their banners using the ULEAD GIF animator supplied, and place them using the AdLINK partner network. Users are charged by page impressions on a monthly basis.

1&1 recently announced it is planning to open a new data center in Lenexa, Kansas.
