DemoWolf Acquires HostingTutorials
August 24, 2006 -- Web hosting tutorial developer DemoWolf (demowolf.com) announced on Thursday it has acquired the assets of competitor HostingTutorials (hostingtutorials.biz).
As part of the acquisition, former HostingTutorials owner Chris Blunden has joined DemoWolf as a DemoWolf developer, and will assist in developing new support tutorials and demonstrations for the Web hosting industry.
"We are very pleased that Mr. Blunden has joined our team, as he has some great ideas about the direction of the industry, and what hosting companies need help with," says Rob Moore, founder and CEO of DemoWolf. "With his assistance in the development of new tutorials, we will be able to grow our inventory of support tutorials at a faster, and smarter pace, producing tutorials that Web hosting companies need the most."
HostingTutorials had been producing support tutorials for Windows hosting applications, SmarterMail and Helm 3. But with this acquisition, all earlier versions of those tutorials are being reproduced under the DemoWolf brand. The new SmarterMail tutorials will be available within the next couple weeks, while the new Helm 4 tutorials will be released in time for the Helm 4 launch in early October 2006.
