Zeus Partners With South African Firm
August 23, 2006 -- Traffic management software provider Zeus Technology (zeus.com) announced on Tuesday it has partnered with South African systems integrator and consulting services firm SYSDBA (sysdba.com). The deal allows SYSDBA to deliver Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager to its corporate and channel customers, making available for the first time an advanced Application Delivery Controller in South Africa.
SYSDBA selected the Zeus platform for its ability to combine traffic management, advanced security and application acceleration in a single scalable solution. The platform complements its existing portfolio of solutions, enabling organizations to achieve maximum return on technology investment.
Financial services company First National Bank has selected ZXTM to power its customer-facing Internet Banking Web site. Having recently extended its presence into the US, following growth in China, France, Germany and Japan, Zeus has had significant year-on-year growth and was recently named as visionary in Gartner's magic quadrant for the 'Web enabled application delivery market' sector.
"Having evaluated a range of application-tier solutions," says Chris Bamber, managing director for SYSDBA, "it was clear that ZXTM delivers the high levels of performance required to manage, secure and optimize application traffic, helping organizations drive network efficiency, business productivity and customer service."
