SWsoft Upgrades Performance and Flexibility of SiteBuilder 3.2 for Windows
Herndon, Virginia - August 9, 2006 - SWsoft, an established leader in server automation and virtualization software, has released the latest version of its website building and editing software. The new software was developed to enable hosting providers to more easily deploy and manage large groups of sites with greater efficiency.
Key features in this version include improved scalability, enhanced publishing capabilities and a redesigned web-based user interface. Publishing flexibility is increased by enabling administrators to publish files to any HTTP server. In addition, the new web interface provides easier access to the software's core components, allowing administrators to quickly and easily update the software as needed.
As part of SWsoft's OPEN FUSION initiative, SiteBuilder 3.2 for Windows is integrated with Virtuozzo and Plesk 7.6.1 for Windows. This complete solution combines the capabilities of SWsoft's industry-leading virtualization and automation software with an easy-to-use website building interface.
Kurt Daniel, Vice President of Marketing and Alliances of SWsoft explained, ''SiteBuilder's intuitive design and open, scalable architecture make it an ideal tool for helping service providers convert site traffic into new revenue opportunities. We continue to work closely with Microsoft and other partners to improve SiteBuilder to address the needs of providers and end users.''
George DeCarlo, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Dotster added, ''SWsoft's SiteBuilder for Windows allows hosting providers to offer a reliable and affordable website building application to customers. The software's straightforward features and five step wizard appeal to a wide range of customers with various degrees of technical knowledge.''
New features include:
• Improved Scalability: Supports clustered deployments, which allow hosting providers to scale the application across a set of machines.
• Extended Server Support: Plain static files can be published to any HTTP server, resulting in significant performance improvements.
• Target Location Search: New functionality helps administrators better identify the publishing location setup and provisioning issues.
• SiteBuilder VZ Templates: Hosting service providers can use shared or private SiteBuilder VZ Templates.
• Component Updates: All installed and available SiteBuilder components are displayed on a web page readily available for administrators.
SWsoft's SiteBuilder is a next generation, scalable web application that can be integrated into any business process: hosting, ISP, registrars and telcos. SiteBuilder's easy to use five-step wizard and 11 dynamic modules, including blogging and picture galleries, make this software a powerful and flexible solution, and will be available as part of a free promotion until September 30, 2006.
