TULIX Continues Hosting Expansion with Data Center Purchase
TULIX Systems, Inc. announced the opening of an additional high volume secure data center located in Atlanta, GA.
Located in the 55 Marietta Street Carrier Hotel, this new facility gives TULIX unprecedented access to large volume, high speed connections with all of the major national internet backbones. Because the nation’s major backbones peer within the building, and the adjacent 56 Marietta Carrier Hotel, TULIX is now positioned to provide high bandwidth applications, at a substantial savings in cost.
TULIX currently owns a high security data center located in Buckhead’s financial district. George Bokuchava, CEO of TULIX, said, “With the acquisition of 55 Marietta Street, we have full mirroring between the two data centers, providing us with the ability to offer ‘hot backup’ at two geographically independent locations, both of which are under our control. Our goal is to provide our customers with unparalleled opportunities for geographic content distribution and geographic load balancing so we can empower them to achieve their communications goals and objectives.”
