GoDaddy.com’s Quick Shopping Cart Now Links With QuickBooks
GoDaddy.com® is joining forces with Intuit to help small businesses easily open and manage online stores.
The two companies have worked together to enable Quick Shopping Cart®, GoDaddy.com’s online store utility, to interact with QuickBooks® financial software. This technology allows business owners manage their Web store by synchronizing critical business data between their store and QuickBooks. Users can also take advantage of a QuickBooks Merchant Services account to accept all major credit and debit cards and reconcile Quick Shopping Cart payment data directly in QuickBooks.
“Creating a Web store should be a simple process for a business. We listened to our customers and worked with Intuit to develop this solution,” said Bob Parsons, GoDaddy.com CEO and founder. “It’s a win for everyone because it makes business easier and saves time for online merchants who no longer have to waste time entering data into separate payment and accounting systems.”
Quick Shopping Cart offers an easy-to-use wizard for users to quickly develop a successful Web store. In just six steps, merchants can go from purchasing the product to having a fully developed online presence. Quick Shopping Cart was voted one of the best e-commerce storefronts in SmallBusinessComputing.com’s Excellence in Technology Awards earlier this year.
“Having an integrated system that connects my Web-based sales to my storefront sales keeps my organization very streamlined and simple,” said Mike Loy of Foothills Coffee Company, a Go Daddy customer who has improved his business with Quick Shopping Cart and QuickBooks. “I can’t imagine what it would be like if I had to transpose each online transaction manually into my accounting software.”
“Intuit has a long tradition of making products and services that help small businesses be successful,” said Dan Wernikoff, director of product management for Intuit’s QuickBooks Merchant Services. “By working with GoDaddy.com, we’ve extended the power of QuickBooks to help business owners leverage the Web.”
