NTT America Launches Hosted Exchange Service
NEW YORK, April 4, 2006 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- NTT America, a wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary of NTT Communications Corporation, today announced the launch of Hosted Exchange, a managed email application service that provides a reliable and flexible hosted environment for Microsoft Exchange 2003. The service is first available in the North American market, followed by subsequent launch in other regions.
Leveraging NTT Communications technology, the secure, enterprise-class Hosted Exchange service provides customers with a unique and robust infrastructure, including redundant design and advanced equipment offering better performance and security than other Exchange services. Hosted Exchange also offers the most extensive network in the Pan-Pacific region to provide scalable solutions for both North America and Asia-based companies.
"The more advanced security and compliance email needs of the mid-sized and enterprise markets have traditionally been ignored," said Hideki Kurihara, Vice President of NTT America Enterprise Hosting. "Companies are facing increasing demands to upgrade the email systems that support their day-to-day operations and meet new security and compliance requirements, without the support of internal resources or relevant products. Hosted Exchange has flexible service plans to meet individual customer needs, including wireless access for Microsoft ActiveSync and RIM Blackberry, corporate compliance archiving, anti-spam and dual-tiered anti-virus protection. The service is supported under the NTT America Enterprise Hosting Certified Engineering Center, providing Exchange customers direct access to certified engineers.
