Nauticom Internet Services Upgrades to Portal 7 to Support Enhanced Client Services
CUPERTINO, Calif., Mar 14, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Portal Software, Inc. (Pink Sheets:PRSF), the premier global provider of billing and Revenue Management solutions for telecommunications and media markets, announced today that Nauticom Internet Services, a leading north-eastern regional provider of Internet services for residential and commercial customers, is upgrading to Portal 7, its latest release. Nauticom, a division of North Pittsburgh Systems, Inc. with over USD110m in annual revenues, provides a comprehensive array of IP-based services throughout western Pennsylvania including dial-up, DSL and dedicated broadband connectivity, hosting, co-location, and Web development & design services.
Nauticom, a Portal customer since 2000, is moving to Portal 7 to take advantage of the many new features available in the product including Customer Center, Advanced Discounting and Web Self Care. While playing against a variety of larger ISPs, Nauticom is able to successfully differentiate and maximize profitability by providing its customers with a wealth of value-added features at low price points.
