Host Department Implements Better Servers’ Backup and Disaster Recovery
In a continuing effort to protect its clients’ data, Host Department has installed UltraBac for its disaster recovery system and H-Sphere Backups for its clients in all its servers.
Wilmington, DE – October 11, 2005 – Host Department, a leading Web hosting and domain name registration provider, today announced that it has installed the UltraBac Disaster Recovery from UltraBac Software, and H-Sphere Backup from H-Sphere Packages, in all its servers.

Additionally, the add-on will allow clients to download or upload the backup via the web browser, or use a remote FTP server to store or restore their files, all directly from their web hosting control panel. According to Erlando, this installation was driven by its clients’ numerous constant demands to backups, and will be offered at no extra charge.
