Verio Delivers e-Commerce Training and Consulting Resources to viaVerio Small to Medium Business Resellers; Verio Helps Resellers Deliver Online Busin
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Oct 04, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Verio, a subsidiary of NTT Communications and a leader in global IP and managed hosting solutions, has launched e-commerce consulting and training resources to new and existing viaVerio(R) resellers serving the small to medium business market. These resources will assist resellers who are advising clients interested in online commerce to grow their small business, including those resellers who may be building and deploying commerce sites for their customers.
The training will be held as an online webinar beginning October 7, 2005 and will be repeated each Friday at 1:00 pm ET. New and existing resellers can register for this webinar at www.viaverio.com in the reseller programs weekly training section. The training content will cover the business benefits of online commerce and steps to getting started as well as technical and product features of Verio's e-commerce hosting offerings. Each session will be conducted in conjunction with ShopSite, which offers shopping cart software and services that allow the easy creation and maintenance of web stores or online catalogs. ShopSite's online commerce products are offered to viaVerio resellers and provide them a breadth of information and resources to help build and manage e-commerce solutions for customers.
Additionally, Verio and ShopSite are offering e-commerce consultations with the purchase of one of the three ShopSite packages offered to resellers. These one-hour consultations will address each reseller's specific areas of interest and requirements for providing e-commerce recommendations to their clients and deployment of an online commerce service.
