American Airlines AAdvantage Members Can Earn 10,000 AAdvantage Miles With EarthLink

FORT WORTH, Texas, Jun 3, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- AAdvantage(R) members now can earn miles when they sign up for Internet service from EarthLink(R), including dial-up, wireless e-mail with BlackBerry(R), and DSL or cable high- speed Internet.

Members who sign up for EarthLink Internet service before Aug. 31, 2004, will earn 10,000 AAdvantage miles, and after that date, members will earn 6,000 miles.

"We understand that reliable and quick Internet access is important to our AAdvantage members. We are pleased to partner with EarthLink to help members earn miles while they use technology to stay connected," said Jeff Zidell, vice president - AAdvantage Marketing Programs.

"Our collaboration with American Airlines is yet another way for users to benefit by signing up with EarthLink," said Doug Trautman, EarthLink's vice president - Channel Sales. "With a compelling suite of protection tools to block spam, viruses and spyware, EarthLink provides the best possible Internet experience to help keep AAdvantage members in touch with their friends, family and business associates."

With EarthLink's dial-up connections, customers will get fast, reliable service with the most access numbers nationwide. They'll also be able to use TotalAccess(R) 2004 with such exclusive features as EarthLink Accelerator(TM), technology that allows dial-up customers to surf the Web up to five times faster than regular narrowband services; spamBlocker; and Pop-Up Blocker(SM) -- tools that help keep online interruptions to a minimum. In addition, an EarthLink Internet access account offers as many as eight e-mail addresses to keep customers in touch with family and friends.

EarthLink Wireless Email with BlackBerry(R) service lets customers connect to their e-mail from any location, turning travel time into productive time. The handheld technology offers instant e-mail with no dial-up necessary, plus an optional wireless Internet browser.
